SANY Microgrid today held an office unveiling ceremony for its Romania subsidiary San Win Green Energy. Representatives from local industry organizations and multiple partner companies attended the event, marking a new phase of localized operations for SANY Microgrid in Romania.
During the ceremony, SANY Microgrid’s management team and partner representatives jointly unveiled the office plaque. The new office will serve as SANY Microgrid’s local coordination hub in Romania, covering key functions including project development, technical support, engineering delivery, operations and maintenance (O&M), and ecosystem partnerships. This enhanced local presence will further improve response speed and service depth, enabling more efficient execution and delivery of photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage projects.
In his speech, the general manager Nick Xu of SANY Microgrid stated: “Romania is at a critical juncture in its energy transition and power system modernization. The opening of our new local office demonstrates SANY Microgrid’s long-term commitment to the Romanian market. Going forward, we will work closely with local partners to provide more reliable, more economical, and more sustainable integrated energy solutions particularly to support high-quality project delivery and long-term stable operations.”
In recent years, SANY has continued to advance its clean energy footprint in Romania. According to publicly available reports, Sany completed the acquisition in October 2025 of a hybrid project in Dobrești, Dolj County, Romania, with a capacity of 95 MWp PV and 218 MWh energy storage, described as being at the “ready-to-build” stage. SANY Microgrid noted that, with compliance and safety/quality as top priorities, it will continue strengthening local teams and capabilities, deepening coordination across the industry value chain, and contributing to Romania’s renewable energy development and grid resilience.
At the end of the event, attending guests exchanged views on project collaboration mechanisms, technical solutions, and localized service systems. Several partners expressed their expectation to further expand cooperation with SANY Microgrid in Romania and jointly promote the deployment of more benchmark projects.
